personally moose tracks is my all-time fave. but cookie dough is a close second

depends on if the cookie dough is edible
cookie dough itself is bad. a cooked cookie is perfection, but uncooked cookie is just nasty. it just tastes like sugar thickened up into a batter. then if you make it into ice cream, the charming crunchyness, or softness (because cookies can have diverse texture) is lost. there is no "wow i found a chocolate chip" anymore. its just thickened up sugar that's cold.
