Imagine there is an omnipotent (all-powerful) god. Whatever god you want it to be, doesn't matter. Cosmic being, religious god, whatever. Just imagine they are all powerful. As in, capable of doing anything and everything they want, at any time.

Now imagine that this god wants to create a rock, so heavy even the god is unable to lift it. This god creates this rock, and that's where the paradox starts.

If the god wants to lift the rock, but is unable, that means they are not all-powerful, because that means they can't do whatever they want.

If the god is able to lift the rock, that means they are also not all powerful, because they were unable to create a rock they couldn't lift. This paradox shows that true omnipotence is impossible, and can't exist in our Universe.

What do you think of this paradox? How do you think it could be solved?

Anyways, more stuff like this coming soon

this is where some really complex theoretical physics comes in.

Imagine there are infinite different parallel universes.

this being can create/remove and edit any of them at anytime in any way

He creates one where he can lift the rock and 1 where he cant.

and can choose which one should apply at any given time

if he wants to lift the rock. switch to instance a. want to not be able to? swap to instance b

Weight is determined by the strength of gravity, An omnipotent being can alter the strength of gravity, and is also capable of exerting an infinite force, So even if he created it infinitely heavy, by simply removing gravity it longer has weight, Also regardless of the inertia (Is that the right word? Been a while since I did Physics, Resistance to change in motion) of the object an infinite force will push it to the speed of light, and presumably beyond, Regardless of the mass of an object, infinity wins, Even if it had an infinite weight (An interesting thought, What happens to gravity then?), an infinite force would still move it, as any amounts of energy the universe can exert on it would be negligible, It would be effectively floating in space, Sure only an infinite force would affect it, but an omnipotent being is the only possible source of a truly infinite force

If it had infinite weight it would become a black hole and shwoop the omnipotent being out of existance

no, the being is omnipotent and could simply choose to not be pulled into the black hole.

i mean i guess but it would need infinite weight in order to do so meaning it would become a black hole which isn't much better and if it tried to not become a black hole then it would need non-infinite weight recreating the paradox.
