Spruce or Dark Oak?
It's a simple fact that Spruce and Dark Oak wood are the most popular woods in Minecraft, but which one is better?

dark oak by far. spruce has this wierd green tint that doesn't look very good, whereas dark oak looks very clean and is great for modern builds.
i need you to tell me where you see green in this.

All woods look best depending on biome and which blocks your using
Dark oak works surprisingly well in a mesa

I think spruce goes really well with lanterns (and I use lanterns a lot) so I like spruce
plus it’s the perfect combo of dark oak and just oak so it has the right color
it goes really good with oak as well so whenever I’m building a house out of oak i put a spruce roof

The spruce has a dark color but not so drastically that you could use black terracotta in place, it has a warmy feel. The log color looks both stripped or not, with a significant difference between both. I'm also not interested in chocolate bar trapdoors. Spruce is a common wood and easy to find, the 2x2 version allowing easier harvesting. It's really just superior

spruce is nice and all but dark oak has that color spruce doesn't have, and spruce is just that one wood peice that doesn't even mean anything
