Should I create a new season for Battle for the Enchanted Netherite Trophy?
If you've been following me over the past year (2022-2023), you might be familiar with Battle for the Enchanted Netherite Trophy, or BENT for short. This was an interaction based series that I enjoyed making.
Over the chapters, I put more effort into making high-quality content for the audience. I noticed a downward trend in interaction somewhere near the end of the series. Perhaps there was some correlation with the roleplay and lore stuff, but i don't know.
Last month, I thought that I might create a new season with a reformed format, but I worry that I will once again, work my ass off making content that only two people are going to take the time to interact with other than voting and that is the end. I used to get comments on the early chapters, and that was amazing. That interaction is what drove me- what motivated me to keep going. Sure, some of the challenges got lazy, as did the titles. (Fire and the Flood, I'm looking at you in particular.)
If you haven'tr read BENT, I suggest that you do. It's likely the first of its kind here. It even sparked a few spin-offs, (none of which survived past three chapters. I think there were two before Elightin_elytra that only had one chapter, and Elighin seemingly impulsively leaked someone's IP in a roleplay and got himself banned.)
Should I make a new season? Since BENT is based on community, I am asking you guys. BENT is the kind of series that lives off interaction, and something that I'd gladly do fanservice for if that's what will get attention.
What do you think?
