Do you think the dessert needs more animals

I personally think that the dessert needs more animals there is like no animals in the dessert. All i can think of right now are cats. What are some ideas that Minecraft should add to the dessert.
I think they should add snakes. (You guys can repeat snake if you want)🐍
You guys can also include other biomes if you want.

Think about it
People sometimes spawn in deserts
Then, 2 seconds later, they would get bitten by a snake
This could potentially ruin speedrunning because desert temples would be dangerous to loot and portals would be hard to loot as well
So pretty much, deserts would be avoided in speedrunning if this was added
Also a desert is supposed to be, well, DESERTED

at least flowered cacti and oasises. and probably some sort of tortise
