Hey guys, I'm back though this time I've got a list and would love to hear any thoughts or opinions you have about the build, also I'd like to hear what sort of settings this could run on games such as Arma II/III (DayZ), Battlefield 3/4, Skyrim (with mods, not too worried about this), GTA (with mods and again not too worried on this), Minecraft (of course ) and various other games and MMO's (such as ESO when that comes out and SWTOR).

Right now I currently have the money to pay for the components though I will need a monitor (feel free to suggest any cheap-ish and good quality monitors) as well as a new keyboard (I'm looking at the Ducky Shine 2 with either red or brown Cherry's). I'm also in Australia so some of the prices may be a bit more expensive than US sites such as Newegg or Amazon, I'm getting the prices from MSY Perth. I guess I should list the components now (sorry about the large text )

CPU: Intel Core i5-3570k ($245)

CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper-212 EVO ($34)

Motherboard: ASRock Z77 Extreme4 ($119)

RAM: G.skill Ares series 8GB (2x4) 1600mhz ($74)

HDD: Seagate Barracuda 2TB ($92)

SSD: Samsung 840 Pro 128GB ($139) (I wanted a very fast SSD with some extra space)

Graphics Card: MSI 7950 OC ($329)

Case: Antec P280-W ($155) (I know it's expensive but I really like it)

PSU: Antec 520W ($83)

OD: Asus Blk 24x ($22)

Total: $1385 (including Win 7 HP)

Thanks all, brenno29

That is 500x more pro than my rig. It's a Mac though so...

I sould suggest an AMD motherboard though. Cheap and high quality.

It all seems fine, but id go for the new intel cpus that are out. Also, id go with a 600 w psu to be on the safe side with such a big gpu, but it may be enough. Also youll need a new motherboard if youre going with the new intel cpus.
