Ideas for my Hi-Tech Texture Pack (Techsture Pack)

Does anyone have any ideas for any type of block, item or anything else? Right now I have changed the diamond sword to a graphics card that you can whack stuff with, and the mining cracks is a loading bar.

Protip: use ores and/or some wool variants as control panels with buttons and screens and stuff. Makes quite good use of them if that's the sort of pack you want.
Perhaps change iron blocks, or any ugly block into futuristic looking stuff!
Lightsabers or something similar to those.
