what is artist gallery ?
artist gallery is a contest in which the participant is randomly assigned a famous painting or artwork from the past, and must make a skin inspired or based off of said art
as an example ;
say i entered and got assigned the painting "the starry night" by vincent van gogh. i would then create a skin based off of the painting !

leave a comment below stating you'd like to enter, and i'll assign a famous painting to you ! no requirements necessary, and all skill levels are welcome ! ♥

all normally pmc rules and guidelines for posting must be followed
the entry must be based off of/inspired by the assigned artwork you get
original and new work ! skins you have previously made will not count
be kind to all the participants

judging criteria
deadline
the last day that you can submit your entries will be MARCH 10th !
any skins submitted after that date will not count !
judging will start the day after the deadline (11th). please give us time to judge ! it may take a couple weeks to finish judging depending on the amount of entries we get !

don't worry if you didn't get to partake, seeing how popular this contest got, i may opt for this to be a yearly contest or something similar to that ! i'll keep you guys posted if i decide to go that route ♥

Hello ! I'm a modern art (1890s-1960s) fan I gotta say this contest looks both interesting and funny, may I join in ? (if yes I hope to get assigned a piece of early ukrainian/russian abstracion !)

It's perrrrrrfect ! it's one of my favorite paintings by my favorite painters of all time, It is even used as the cover for an edition of my favorite book of all times "the invisible man", which I own !
