I'm thinking of making some texture packs
As well as getting into 3D modelling-
But I have ZERO experience (unless you count pixel art)
So if anyone has any resources or advice, it would be greatly appreciated!

Use paint.net for textures, i think it's the best to start
Use blockbench for 3D models, very easy to use, intuituve and get results fasts
And obvioulsy youtube for blockbench tutorial and how to create basic rpack

I use blockbench to make models and texture.
I also use the Minecraft entity wizard addon on it to add the texture/custom mob to game quickly
