Assign a mob to guard an area mostly from players.
Type "/function stationedguard:uninstall" to uninstall datapack from your world.
" /datapack enable "file/stationedguard" " to reinstall datapack to your world.
How to use datapack:
1. Prepare a nametag renamed as "guard"
2. Lure a mob to its station
3. Use nametag on mob
4. Customize the guard (Optional)
5. Configure its setting (Optional)
6. Rename the guard to avoid it despawning.
Type "/trigger setting" to turn setting on. Use the same command to turn setting off.
Get near the guard to display its setting. You cannot configure guards you do not own.
Mobs that can become guards:
- Drowned
- Evoker
- Husk
- Piglin Brute
- Piglin
- Pillager
- Skeleton
- Stray
- Vindicator
- Witch
- Wither Skeleton
- Zombie
- Zombie Villager
- Iron Golem
Unique Guard Features:
- The guard is customizable. You can equip it with armor and weapons, or apply potion effects.
- It will remain standing on one block if no enemy within its area
- It will pathfind to its station if...
- no enemy found within its area
- it is outside its boundary
- It will not occupy other guard's station no matter their distance.
- It will not attack the enemy if the owner, in survival, is also within its area.
