This datapack allows for you to make a redstone chunk loader, simply by placing a lodestone on top of a redstone lamp. If the Redstone lamp is powered, it will load a 3x3 chunk area with it as the center. A picture of this can be found above.
There is also another type of chunk loader i call a allay loader, if you give a allay a lodestone it becomes a chunk loader, and emits particles. This is for a situation where you need to move around a chunk loader like, a flying machine, a create mod contraption, etc.
Via the op menu, witch you can only acsses in creative with op via "/trigger op_menu", you can change the range of the chunk loader to 1x1, 3x3, or 5x5, all with the chunk loader at the center. There is also a option to limit how many chunk loaders can be on at once, allowing you to limit how many force loaded chunks there can be.
The datapack works fine in 1.20. It only just looks red. Also, i tested it, and it should work on servers unless you are doing something weired. An eazy way to test if its working is to place a furnace, or a redstone thing inside what its loading, then leave it, and see if its made any progress.

2 Update Logs
Update #2 : by Vexxen0725 07/24/2023 10:01:29 amJul 24th, 2023
- Fixed bug where chunk loaders would stop loading chunks if there areas overlapped. Due to me fixing this bug, the datapack now takes over the forceload command, meaning that you can no longer force load chunks with the command, and only my chunk loaders can do so. This means that some datapacks that use that command will no longer work with this one.
- Added new chunk loader type of niece situations, called the allay chunk loader. When you give a allay a lodestone, it becomes a chunk loader, and emits particles. This is for a situation where you need to move around a chunk loader like, a flying machine, a create mod contraption, etc.
- Changed que system to work with scoreboards.

Changing radius in the op menu also does not seem to work.
My best attempt at google translate:
