Dive Deeper Than Ever Before!
IMPORTANT: I'm No Longer Maintaining This Version Of The Project. If I Circle Back To Ocean Zones It Will Be Made From The Ground Up For 1.18.2+
My newest datapack adds 3 new biomes/dimensions to your world. The deeper you dive, the more alien and darker it gets.
Dimensions & Biomes:
Midnight Zone - You reach this by being in water at a y of 30-29 (~ 30 ~). This dimension is a deep blue ocean. The depth is a full 240-250 meters. Coral reefs light up the sea floor.
Abyssal Zone - You reach this by being in water at a y of 13-12 (~ 12 ~) in the Midnight Zone. It is similar to the Midnight Zone, but a bit darker. No more coral or sea cucumbers.
Hadal Zone - Deepest and darkest Ocean Zone. You reach this by being in water at a y of 13-12 (~ 12 ~) in the Abyssal Zone. Monsters lurk down here.
This datapack is survival-friendly, but waterbreathing effects will be needed to descend as there are no air pockets as you dive. The distance from the bottom of the Hadal Zone back to the surface (overworld) is about 690 blocks/meters.
I plan to add deep sea creatures/monsters and ocean pressure damage.

Changes:
-Updated world generation. Caves, Ores, and fish can now be found in the ocean zones.
-Adjusted the depth to change dimensions in the Midnight and Abyssal zones (you'll need to find a ravine/trench at the bottom)
-Adjusted the coordinate ratio. 100 Blocks in the ocean zones now equals 1 block in the overworld.

I need to update it here soon. 1.17 is a much better version to mess around with worldgen in.
