This datapack brings back MC-271843 - a bug that causes the game to crash whenever a villager dies.



[WARNING:] Because this datapack by its very nature crashes the game, it is highly recommended that you backup your worlds before using it as it can and will cause corruption.

I looked how your datapack works, and I figured out that you made it so that when a villager dies, it drops an egg with custom data and you detect that item. The problem with that is if a villager dies in lava, you won't be able to detect it, because the egg will be burned. To get around this, you need to use netherite because it doesn't burn in lava
By the way, same problem occurs if a villager dies in void, but I don't know how you can get around that.

Thank you for your feedback, are you sure that it didn't detect the item when the villager died in lava?
I thought I tested it with lava and it still crashed the game when the villager died.
Also if it's around long enough for it to burn in lava then someone could pick it up and if it was netherite then it would be very unbalanced.
