This datapack teleports you to the location of your last death when you click the message in chat that appears when you die (or with /function lastdeathtp:tp). This could prove useful if you died in a very unfortunate location and really don't want to lose your items. (It also gives you invulnerability for 5 seconds after the teleport)
Disclaimer:
The datapack has to be installed, before the death occurred and currently only works in Singleplayer (might make it Multiplayer compatible in the future, we'll see) it's Multiplayer compatible now, baby!
Also note that you have to be in the dimension you died in when theleporting, the datapack does not keep track of your dimension. (though I think it'd be possible to fix that, might do that at some point idk)
If you find any bugs, please let me know in the comments and I'll look into it
Really the only reason I updated this to multiplayer is, because JankWangly wanted to try MineControl on a server, which wouldn't have worked with the old version. So if you wanna have some fun and are looking to get your jank wanged, head on over to his twitch channel!
v1.1 - MINOR UPDATE:
- Added a message with a click event in chat after you die that teleports you when you click it.
v1.1.1 - Bug Fix
- Fixed bug where the player wouldn't get resistance on tp
v1.1.2 - Updated to 1.18
- Still worked, as expected - Just updated the pack_format accordingly
v2 - Multiplayer Compatibility!
- the datapack now is (for the most part) multiplayer compatible

Full Overhaul - Multiplayer Compatibility added! : by codefox_ 05/16/2022 2:04:14 pmMay 16th, 2022
I completely overhauled the datapacks functions - Instead of using an armour stand to remember your death it now uses scoreboards. This makes everything smoother and more efficient, but more importantly this mean that it is now -Multiplayer Compatible-. Yep, you can throw this thing right in your server world now and everyone (with the permission to use the /function command) can enjoy the ability to teleport to their death after they've died.
Now, I should note that there are still some bugs that'll happen in multiplayer, but none of them should be too much of a problem - one bug I already know will happen, is that if two people die in the same, usually unloaded chunk, if one of the players dies again or teleports and leaves before the other player does, the other player won't be able to teleport since the chunk will be unloaded. Since in most cases people will teleport back to their death right away though, this shouldn't really be a problem. If you find any more bugs, please let me know in the comments!

The chat message is set to the trigger as well, so you can either use /trigger deathTP set 1 or just click the message (without having op)
Lmk if you encounter any problems
Other than that 9/10 I love this Datapack!!!! :)
I kinda did a datapack like this, although its more hardcore driven where you are forced to have only one life. I'd love to see your thoughts on mine XP
