Polishing an old gun datapack I made last year. Currently has 7 guns. Will add the rest and more in the future.
What's new/different?
-Changed reloading method (sneak to reload)
-Animations (for reloading and firing)
-Replaced book crafting with barrel crafting/shop method
-4 ammo types now (standard/heavy cartridges for handguns and rifles)
-Uses smooth element models instead of voxel models now (for fewer framerate drops)
-Optimization stuff
Crafting
Instead of using a book to craft the guns, now you use a Gun Terminal.
Drop onto the ground:
-1 Crafting Table
-1 Crossbow
-1 Gunpowder
to obtain a Gun Terminal.

Reloading
To reload, have an emptied gun in your hand, and then sneak. You'll hear a sound effect play at the end when the reload finishes.
Durability
Once your gun's durability reaches 0, you'll hear a distinctive breaking sound followed by some particle effects. Don't worry, your gun's still there, just unuseable. I'll be adding a repair mechanic in the future.

Balance
Yes the ammo is supposed to be expensive to make. For how powerful guns can be in Minecraft, I think it's a fair tradeoff to make the ammo expensive. If you feel like the cost isn't high enough and you're still racking up tons of ammo without the need for a mob farm, let me know and I'll try to make them a bit more expensive but not too expensive.
Custom Player Damage
The custom damage in this pack supports max health of up to 100 HP (50 hearts). Past that, the whole thing just breaks so keep that in mind if you wanna use this for a custom server gamemode.
Enchantment Glint
The resource pack that this datapack uses disables the enchantment glint. If that bothers you, I suggest you download a visual enchantment texture pack that changes how your tools and armor look based on their enchantments.
Visual Bugs
Since this pack uses firing and reloading animations, as much as possible, wait for the animations to end before switching off the gun. I'm still trying to iron out all animation related bugs even though there are some fixes implemented right now.
