This datapack adds completely custom footprints to your game without a resource pack! When a player moves a configurable amount, a footprint will be spawned at their feet, darkening the ground by a bit. After a configurable delay, it will fade.

The code is extremely optimized for large amounts, and almost all of the features are configurable from the config.mcfunction file (per-player and global limits, experimental modes, distance between footprints, and duration).
