This is an addon to MichaelMods Ender XP datapack. It allows you to repair your mending tools with the XP stored in your Ender Chest.
How to use:
Craft the Item Repair Station with two Smooth Stone Slabs, two Obsidian, one Anvil and one Mending Book. Place the Item Repair Station directly on top of an Ender Chest. As you walk close to it you can put the item you want to repair into the first slot of the GUI and it repairs your item with the XP stored in your Ender Chest. This will only work if you are closeby and only if the item is in the first slot of the GUI. Your tool can have any other enchantments, too, as long as it has mending.
For every point of XP your tool gains two points of durability which is also the rate at which your tool repairs in vanilla.
There are three different versions of this datapack available:
1.: The 1.13.x version will work in any 1.13 version. To run, it requires the NBT-Crafting Table datapack made by Stevertus and my general datapack for right-click detection.
2.: The vanilla 1.14.x version will work in any 1.14 version. To run, it requires the NBT-Crafting Table datapack made by Stevertus and my general datapack for right-click detection.
3.: The fabric 1.14.x version will work in any 1.14 version. To run, it requires the Fabric Launcher, the Fabric API and the NBT Crafting Mod made by Siphalor and my general datapack for right-click detection.
To install the datapack just download and extract the ZIP-archive. Place your desired version of the datapack in the datapacks folder of the world you want it to be applied to and type /reload into the in-game chat.
Note:
With this datapack comes no ressourcepack. The carrot on a stick that you craft has the
NBT {CustomModelData:8}, so you can create a ressourcepack that gives
any Carrot on a Stick with this CustomModelData the texture that you want.
There are plenty of tutorials out there on how to do that.
