When you create a world with DuskWorld DataPack, you are in the Overworld. The first stage is the craft of the Scythe.




Then you can obtain Soul killing mobs with the Scythe. And also get Bark Fragments stripping logs with this tool.

Afterward, place a, in this order, three Bark Fragments and a Soul on a Campfire to Obtain your first Spirit




With the same mechanic, you can enchant a book to discover Occult Spell like this




To use this book, you have to place it on a lectern




Then, you can read the spell. But Warning, the spell is a Malediction! (or not :D ).

When you read spell, you will be linked with the DuskWorld. And you are linked, you will travel to this dimension at your next death. You can dead normally or use a sacrifice knife (crafted with a string, a stick and a flint, any order, in a crafting table)

When you arrived in the new dimension, you have to discover the world to found things like that (don’t mine, you can’t find ores):

(Tip: keep ALL items, they are useful)

- Lava Wells in the Volcano Biome (with four hidden barrels in the roof)




- Petrified trees in the Forest Biome (break leaves to get food, the “Old Apples” are very good)

(You need stone pickaxe to mine the Petrified Wood)




- Water Wells in the Black Plains (the carpets are useful, keep at less 4, and loot the barrel)




- Ash and Soul Fire in the Ash Deserts (You need around thirty ash blocks, and twenty souls, but Warning to the Blazes)

They are many special crafts in the DuskWorld:



- All of this craft are only possible in the dimension :







(You can find Gold everywhere in the World Surface)





(You can fin Magma Blocks Swimming in the water caves)

You can craft a stonecutter with blackstone to cut honeycomb












You can also craft Custom Items:



- To craft the Lava Core, you must be in fire during crating!








The others Custom Items are crafted with a Campfire (or Soul Campfire):



- The Soul Soil made with Ash and Soul





- The Fire Spirit made with Lava Cores and Soul





- The “Old Memory” crafted with Ash, Packed Ask (creating putting water on Ash) and BlackStone





- Finally, the Recollection Spirit mase with Old Memories and Soul

Get the three Spirits (Wood, Fire and Recollection) to spawn the Blaze Ghost. Then Build this altar:




(13 Soul Soils, 4 Carpets, 8 Black Candles and a Campfire or Soul Campfire)



Afterwards, place the Three Spirits and a Soul to Spawn the boss (in this order:





Keep the Surprise for the Boss, but it’s hard, use iron to fight.

Kill the Blaze Ghost to retun in the Overworld

And have fun :)
