This data pack adds a temperature meter to the player's action bar. Depending on what biomes you are in, light levels, blocks you are standing on and other factors, the temperature will go up and down. You get regeneration at the perfect temperature level
Guide:
🔥🔥☠🔥🔥 = Getting close to fetal heat (you will die soon, cool down now)
🔥🔥🔥 = Getting close to fetal heat (darkness effect)
🔥🔥 = Getting dangerously hot (nausea effect)
🔥 = Getting cautiously hot (weakness effect)
❂ = Further to the hot side of the temperature
❂ = Near perfect levels of temperature
❂ = Further to the cold side of the temperature
❆ = Getting pretty chilly (slowness effect)
❆❆ = Getting very cold (mining fatigue effect,)
❆❆❆ = Getting dangerously cold (high-level slowness effect)
❆❆☠❆❆ = Getting close to fetal freezing (you will die soon, warm up now)
Have Fun!

I dont know if this was intentional or not.

I've been thinking about using a thirst data pack in combination with your temperature mod. If you add drinking water to cool down, perhaps have another consumable to warm up an equal amount? Like stew or milk perhaps? Or a custom hot water bottle item (bottles of water heated on a campfire) or tea, or coffee? It would suck if staying hydrated caused me to freeze to death constantly. Coffee I think could be made in a brewing stand, bottles of water and add cocoa beans as reagent.
Or if particularly inspired, hot cocoa... warm a milk bucket in a brewing stand to fill three bottles of warm milk, and then use cocoa beans as a secondary reagent into the warm milk bottles. Add some kind of buff to prevent coldness from falling below a certain threshold for a few minutes, perhaps. And maybe could make a watermelon slush item with a bottle of water, powder snow, and watermelon slices, for a cold equivalent of hot cocoa's buff.
I'm just spitballing ideas here, please don't feel obligated to include any of these especially the more complicated ones. :)
