Adds a couple of changes to the game including tweaks, new items, new npc and a new boss.
Includes a texture pack that is needed for the pack.
Introduction
Welcome to the document for the Craftmas data- and texture pack. These packs were made by Blue.
These packs add a variety of things from mob reskins, gift drops, new items, a new npc, a boss fight and more. Please note that the texture pack requires Optifine. These packs are of course, meant to be used for the holiday season. But if you’ve been nice enough this year, maybe I’ll let ya use it during the summer or something. Mob reskins
This pack adds a variety of reskins to most mobs in the game.
Item reskins
A few items have been changed in this texture pack. The following items to have been changed are:
Bone, Trident, Arrow, Tipped arrow, Spectral arrow, Blaze rod, Blaze powder and Spider eye.
New NPC
This data pack adds a new NPC into the game, it’s none other than Santa Claus himself! He is an NPC that will sell you goods in exchange for “Holiday Tokens”. He can be summoned by throwing a 1 Christmas Present, 20 Coal and 16 Snowballs together on the floor.
Gift drops
Well, tis’ the season of gifts, and even the players’ worst enemies are caring enough to occasionally drop gifts for the player to pick up! All mobs except for most passive mobs will have a 5% chance to drop a gift upon killing them, some mobs even have exclusive gifts! Gifts can contain natural mob drops, Holiday Tokens, Candy Canes and other miscellaneous stuff.
Snowglobes
Even the good ol’ snowglobes have been added with this pack. If you throw the snowglobe on the ground, it will crack open and free the little snowman inside! Snowglobes can be bought from the Santa Claus NPC.
Other new items
Included with this festive pack are Candy Canes and Holiday Tokens! Candy Canes can be eaten to restore a little health. Candy canes can be obtained from gifts or can be bought from Santa Claus. Holiday Tokens can be exchanged for new Christmas-themed items from Santa Claus, they can also be used for trading with villagers! Holiday tokens are obtained from gifts.
Weaponized Snowballs
Snowballs have now been changed to deal 1 damage to all mobs except for Snow Golems. So, now it may be a good idea to build a Snow Golem army to fend off mobs.
New Boss
Of course, with light comes dark. A new boss has appeared in this pack. It can be summoned by throwing the Snowglobed Soul onto the ground, who knows what horrors it will unleash upon your world. The summoning item can be bought from the Santa Claus NPC. Those to defeat the boss will be rewarded with something exclusive.
