Carrot World Edit
Carrot World Edit is a powerful and efficient cross-platform world editing tool. It allows, in its first beta version, simple filling functions. Using its ultra advanced selection tool, you will be able to fill an area, clear it, and fill it randomly with selected blocks. CarrotWE is also a project. The project to create a tool that can be used to its full potential everywhere, in all circumstances. A visual and practical tool, simple but very powerful, and efficient that adapts to its environment. A tool that can be used for very complicated operations as well as for simple and fast functions.
Functions ?
CarrotWE adds functions that can be used with the selection tool. In its first unofficial version, CarrotWE adds three basic functions: fill an area, clear it, and fill it randomly with selected blocks. In the future, we hope to add all this:
- filling
- filling of a single block
- filling with a selection of random blocks
- clearing
- replacement
- simple replacement
- replacement with a selection of random blocks
- replacement of a selection of blocks
- clone
- simple clone
- clone with rotation on the three axes and without predefined angles
- stretching on the three axes
- filling in a patern
- geometrical functions
- box
- walls
- x or z tube
- cylinders
- cylindrical wall
- cylindrical box
- ellipses (spheres)
- ellipsoidal box
- other geometrical shapes and their equivalents in boxes and walls ...
- brush
- several input structures
- custom distribution, size, stretching, and rotation of input structures
- brush size, shape, intensity
- other various functions
- fix water and lava
- protected area
- ...
- organic functions ...
How to use
- Selection tool
It allows you to modify the regions, by clicking on the corners and dragging them. Click again to confirm, or remove the wand from your hand to cancel. Press F (your offhand key) to change the mode (5,10,15,20 or first block).
The wand gives you useful information all the time: the input working area, the output working area, the working block pool, the coordinates of the region you are editing, its size, its id ... - Regions
These regions, which can be changed with the cue stick, are the basis of all functions. They define what you are going to modify in output, what you are going to take in input... - Functions
- fill: fill an output region with the block in block input
- clear: remove all blocks in the output area
- random fill: fills the output area with a random block in the block pool area
- commands:
/trigger wand
gives you the wand/trigger select
creates an output area/trigger deselect
(alias desel) deletes the specified area/trigger fill
fills a block area in block input/trigger block_input
: allow you to enter a specific block in input/trigger clear
clear the output area/trigger random_fill
(alias random) fills the area with a selection of random blocks in block pool/trigger new_pool
create a block pool/trigger new_in
creates an input zone (useless for now, this is intended for cloning and other functions in the future)/trigger new_out
(alias select) creates an output zone./trigger working
allows to select the input working area. Useful if you manage several zones of the same type at the same time/trigger working_in
allows to select the input working area./trigger working_out
(alias working) allows you to select the working area in exit./trigger working_pool
allows you to select the working block pool.
