Give monsters a chance to shine keeping the Vanilla touch: no resourcespack, discrete changes, balanced tweaks, scaled difficulty.
Better Vanilla Mobs modifies the stats of vanilla mobs by giving them unique characteristics and gameplay keeping the vanilla touch. It also adds some mechanics like making neutral mobs aggressive under certain conditions.
Features list:
- NEW Piglin, Piglin Brutes. Both with the starALPHA version.
- NEW Compatibility with Mob Variants (HIGH)
- the datapack adjust stats to the current world's difficulty.
- hard difficulty can be really challenging (easy difficulty is vanilla like level).
- mobs get random skills and effects. Chances increase with difficulty.
- add behaviors to mobs randomly (rng).
- modify mobs fiew seconds after spawn (not laggy, tested on multiplayer).
- a lot of configurable options (premium).
- lagless, totally OK for multiplayer.
- WARNINGS due to health modifications, most of AUTO FARMS are broken, or have to be reworked.

Current version is fully compatible from 1.20 to 1.20.3.
Spider cocoon skill is broken on 1.20.4. So it's OK.

Wither Skeletons- Increased HP, can whip out bows, have shield to defend, throw withering smoke bombs when meleeing. Alpha, wearing netherite chestplate, and have a higher chance on dropping its skull.
Ghast- higher health but can be one shot with power 2 full charge bow at least. Fire balls have more explosion power, alpha, can shoot 3 fire balls at once.
Phantoms - getting bitten by them will take poison for 20 seconds scales from difficulty ofc. Faster flight. Higher dmg. Have screech ability to spawn more phantoms.
Elder guardian - give darkness when to close, laser ignores armor, thorns do more dmg, forces the player to look at the elder guardian(rng), drowns players. Glows when hit by player, regeneration(rng), summons guardians for back up (rng)
Endermite - spawns when teleporting (pearl and enderman) more often, higher hp, more dmg than silver fish, teleports when take dmg, teleports when deal dmg(rng).
Enderman- don't attack endermite often.
Silverfish - infects other blocks, applies poison when deal dmg.
Shulker - bullet deals more dmg, levitation and wither effect when hit. Can shoot multiple at once. Can spawn endermites when take dmg (rng). Alpha, more health, gurantees spawning endermite when hit.
Blazes- faster recharge time, has a dash ability, melee dmg set players on fire, shoots more fireballs, fireballs explode (rng)
These suggestions can be change if you like. Or not use it at all.
nether_skeletons are actually available (premium) and will come out in the free version in fiew moments!
