Hello and welcome to 0g SugaR's new Africa Mob Data pack! Here you will find some information to help prepare you for these majestic animals in-game.
LIST OF MOBS
Note: You can use "/function africa:giveeggs" to obtain spawn eggs for each animal!
The elephant is one of our new mobs introduced in this data pack! This gentle giant usually spawns with one or two young ones by its side. For further notice, these mobs spawn in the savanna biome in-game.
The ferocious lion lays claim to its territory in the savanna; it'd be wise if you don't anger it! The beasts will attack if you step too close, approach with caution.
This burrowing fellow digs through the gravelly soil of the savanna, watch out! They will spawn in large herds scattered around the grassland.
The jerboa hops around the hot plains, searching for its favorite flower, the poppy; the red petals are delicious! Perhaps you may find its drop when killed, the jerboa tail. Some say it makes them feel rather jumpy! (The jerboa tail is a more common substitute for the rabbit foot)
The largest ratite now roams the savannas. It will tolerate you, as long as you don't annoy it, then it will get angry! They can also spawn with their children by their side.
This little guy roams the savannah plains with his extraordinarily long snout. They are small, quick, and will escape the grasp of almost any predators.
The famous Camel is a ridable mob, which dwells in the arid deserts. You can milk the camel by dropping a bucket on it or right-click them to put a chest on them! They do not need to be tamed to be saddled, due to them being docile animals.
NOTE: This mob is by default disabled due to Mojang adding camels themselves! To enable it AND disable the official camels, type /function africa:enablecamels
