Have you ever joined into a server like RoleplayHub or joined a housing in Hypixel and see 'Roleplay' in the tag? Most of us have. Some may ask, "What is Roleplay?" Well the answer is simple for some, and difficult for others. How I describe it is, "Acting out a role in a story." This may not be enough info for some, so allow me to explain in more detail the process of basic roleplay.
  First off, you need to chose a character to use. You can make your own character or pick from a fandom. However, most RP (RolePlay) rules will explicitly state that fandoms are banned for various reasons, so I suggest making your own. How do you make your own? This is really easy. All you really need to do is make your skin to represent the character, then you make the character's name, age, personality, likes and dislikes, and whatever else you want to add based on the theme.
  Next, you find a roleplay with a theme you like. There are numerous themes including, but not limited to: School, Fantasy, Sci-Fi. Each different theme has its own requirements for your character. In a Medieval Fantasy, don't expect to come in with a mechanical robot without being told to "Fit the theme." This is really self explanatory, however some people don't understand all that well at first.
  Lastly, you must follow every rule of the RP you join to the dot. Why is this? Because not following said rules disrupt the story session and cause problems and drama. If the rules say no magic, don't cast fireball, no matter how bad you think it should be allowed in the fantasy theme. Why else should you follow the rules? Most RP owners/managers (Especially on Hypixel) will tell other RP owners/managers if you are a troublemaker. You don't want to be banned from every RP for one thing do you? OF COURSE NOT!
  So basically, RolePlay is acting out a story that has no main ending, it is all for fun. There are a lot of things you have to learn about through experience and observation, but it isn't too hard to get the hang of once you begin.
