So, this really happened. At target today. I swear to god and Hylia this really did happen.
So me and my parents were at target, getting stuff for school and groceries, and we at the checkout and we were at the very end, we’re t the wall with the cars were. So we’re getting checked out a the cashier, and this dude starts yelling. Apparently some lady was trying to takes a his kid. One second it’s kinda loud everyone talking and this guy yelling “STOP BACK DONT TOICH MY KID, HELP. SOME GET SECURITY,” and I was flipping scared, everyone stopped and stared at the aisle. We didn’t see anything, just heard, and I feel different now. I mean someone was trying ti take their kid. I didn’t talk for a while, I was thinking, “man if I was older, I would have gone and helped,” and I need sor specify two things:
1: There was almost no security. My parents rushed out and there was one security, and she was a a little old lady. I was worried.
2: Were we were was a SKETCHY area, man. Tons of homeless people, and just bad stuff happened there.
I feel different. If I were older and alone o would have gone and helped. I didn’t see anyone do that. And I thought: I want to be a generally good person. I want to help hose in need. I want to basically be the Wander (from wander over yonder) of the real world. I want to help. This experience has changed me. Somehting similar happened to my friend, he was in LA and a person was getting mugged, and his dad and uncle rushed to help. I want to be them.

My wife and I had a similar issue, we were at a Walmart with our son. I left her and my child in an aisle alone for a simple moment to look at other products, after I found the item I came back to her and walked past this Hispanic man dressed in blue jeans, khaki coat, and brown boots.
I came to my wife and she said "I think a man is watching us, cause I seen him pass both ends of the aisle twice while staring at me". The man Then walks by one of the aisles and I look right at him and he looks at me and he quicky left.
We noticed the Walmart manager and kept watching our back the whole time we got to our car. These things are real, and you don't think it'll happen to you until it either does or you brush by it.
As a father and husband, I recommend you stay vigilant, possibly carry something to defend yourself with, or learn a way to defend yourself. You never know when you will need it.
Sorry you had to experience that, but at least you are aware now.
