I made my first texture pack right here on the site twelve years ago.

So I'm pretty good at making Minecraft models now.

This is my philosofy video? I don't really know what it is. Hope you give it a chance though! Isn't my pack so dope? does it make you hate me when I praise myself to high heaven? let me know

Interesting video (you were correct: it's more for the atitude with whcih the job is approached than the technical process)

As I long time GIMP user, see what can be dome with paint.net was also intriguing; how steep is the paint.net learning cliff curve?

I found it easier than Gimp when I got into it, but this was over 10 years ago, so I can't really give an accurate and fair assessment...

I've used Gimp recently on my Macbook at the office and personally found it hard to use, so it's possible that I've just become too used to PDN to bother switching. It does everything Photoshop can do (with the right plugins, and sometimes you have to get a bit creative)

If Gimp works for you and fits your workflow, just stick to it 👍

Unless it lacks specific features you wanna use, it's probably good to just use what you're naturally good with
