WARNING: Very biased opinions ahead!
So, as all of you probably already know...
Microsoft bought minecraft back in 2014!
So, in this blog, I would like to talk about what this has changed!
1. Pretty much all content
Before Microsoft bought MC.
A lot of the content was created by us users!
Now, most of the cool content is created by Microsoft...
Back then, a lot more fan-made content was being created...
There is still a bunch of fan-mane stuff, but most stuff today
just isn't as good as what it used to be...
2. Mods
A lot of you probably know about minecraft mods!
They are modifications for MC!
Now, there are barley any memorable mods!
Back in 1.6 there were mods like: Aether 2, Twilight Forest, Gravity Gun, Morph, Ruins, Orespawn, and many more!
Not to say that today's mods are bad, I just don't think that they
will ever change minecraft as much as the mods above....
Probably because with each update the game becomes more
complex, and the more complex it is, the harder it will be to
make mods!
And after 1.7 the complete code of the game changed#
3. Maps
There are still many amazing maps being made today!
But, none will have never really lived up to some of yesterday's
maps, for example: The Dropper, Herobrine's Mansion, and Skyblock
But, just to let you know, I'm making a new map that I think
will be really cool!
I've never seen any other map like the one I'm making!
Now enough about me...
4. The Users
OK, The minecraft user's haven't changed that much...
But, back then there were a lot more memorable users...
The user's back then we're for some reason more memorable
than we are...
Some of these users are: Hypixel, DanTDM, PopularMMOs, MrCrayFish, AntVenom, SkyDoesMinecraft, and a lot more!
But, if we try to be better users than we are know...
Well, maybe some of us will become memorable...
I believe that each one of you can go down in MC history, IF
you try hard enough!

All the consoles versions do the have this new PvP systems, that's why I like to play on console.
and to be honest Idc about most of the fan made crap

And please don't curse in the comments section...
You do realize Microsoft has nothing to do with what's added into the game, right? Mojang as far as I'm aware of, is still the only one who works on the game. Microsoft just gives the funds to Mojang, at least to my knowledge.
Also, I'm wondering what you mean "most of the cool content". Because, from what I'm seeing, Mojang is actually looking at the mods we have, and starting to implement those ideas into the actual game itself. Which is pretty neat that they're actually noticing the Mods people are making and acknowledging those ideas and putting them into the official game itself.
I hope I'm not coming off rude by this. It's only my point of view. ^-^
But, because minecraft is becoming more complex, it's harder to create content for minecraft!
