1. What inspired you to start making Minecraft skins?
1. My irl friend Valkyrien_ has been making skins for years, and she suggested that I might like it, so I gave it a try. My first skins were really bad, lol x'D I liked it so I kept trying shading and colors and stuff until I found the style I like now, which I'm pretty happy with.
2.What is the inspiration behind your username?
2. My username is actually my nickname irl c: My name is Melanie, but most of my friends and even my mom call me Mellie.
3. What’s your favorite skin that you have made?
3. I think this one!
4. What advice would you give to a new skinner?
4. Don't worry too much about numbers and subscribers and stuff. It's going to take awhile to figure out a style you like and get off the ground, so you should make skins to make yourself happy, not other people <3 Also, don't take haters too seriously. Some people are just rude and like to bully others because they're insecure or they have too much time on their hands. Don't waste your time caring what people like that think about your content <3
5. Do you have inspirations? If you do, what do you like about them?
5. Yes I do! My biggest inspirations are Kawaii, Angel and Moon. I saw their aesthetic shading and palettes and just fell in love! My own style is inspired by them :) They also just seem like really nice people.
6. What is your best memory here at PMC?
6. I'm not sure if I have a best memory, but I was so excited the first time I placed in a site contest XD I also really like talking to other people and getting to know them, so that always makes for good memories!
7. What is your dream job?
7. I'd love to be a chemist! I've been into science since I started school and chemistry fascinates me :)
8. How would you describe yourself?
8. Extroverted, a little weird x3, encouraging, pretty chill about things.
9. Do you have any other interests other than skinning?
9. I really like playing video games (LoZ ftw!) and board games, also reading and being a pillow for my cats x3 I've gotten into making jewelry in the last month, too, that's been super fun!
10. Who is your favorite Youtuber?
10. I like watching Dream :) I also like LDShadowlady and Hermitcraft <3
11. Do you have a persona? If yes, what inspired you to create it/them?
11. I do! Her name's Marina, she's lowkey based on me, but mostly on my love of anime and cats x3 She had an old design with a sweater and jeans, which is more the kind of stuff I wear irl, but over time I changed her outfit to reflect the cute stuff I like but wouldn't really wear. I just love her current design :)
