Hi everyone! I will be doing a shading tutorial on hair AND, some cute little hair styles/bangs.
Enjoy! :)
quick li'l notice: I wasnt able to make a wrap up sentence/ending to this blog because my computer wasnt working very well xD So if you like this blog please give it a diamond and favorite! :) thx<3 and enjoy the tutorial!!
1) First things first, you need to make the hair pallete! You need at least 5 pixels in order from lightest, to darkest like as shown:
Step 2) Make sure you start with the lightest pixel on your pallete. This way, it will look more realistic and neat.
note: you will realize i'm not doing the head bottom. This is because it is quite simple to create by yourself for the most part. Anyways, take a look at this picture to help you out!! cx
step 3) use your second lightest pixel for this step!
step 4) use your third lightest pixel from your pallete
Step 5) now, use your next pixel.
Finishing touch!!!! (step 6)
Now, make your skin color pallete! You should have atleast 3 pixels included.
Now for the skin on the face and the eyes!!
use the eraser tool for this next step. This is the outline of the eyes.
Now fill in the eyes! And also, use the eraser tool for the following. Next step, we are going to be filling in the places you have just erased.
Once again, use your lightest pixel from your pallete and simply place them in the spot as shown:
Next, use your second to lightest pixel and start shading as shown in the picture below!!
note: I do tend to mess up a little bit in the next few steps. But I think you wll get the point!
the eye on the left is missing her side eyelash! ~srry about that!! :(
Now use your next pixel from your pallete...
Okay so now all you have to do is shade in the top (the part that is blank just below hair)
with your last and darkest pixel!
i litarly think the left eye got glitched xD
It should now look like this:
Wanna see some cool and cute hair styles? keep reading then!!!
I also recomend putting the hair on the armor body so it makes it look more realistic.
First one:
Second hair style:
And last but not least...
And also,I highly suggest you create "bangs" on your skins. This creates a not so much blocky look to it.
Remember to make bangs on the armor head front area on the skin. Here is an example that you have permission to use.
Enjoy! :)
