Don be meen too newbs!1!!1 A Blog about how mean we are to them.
Okay, this is meh first blog so forgive meh.
Ppl don realize dat we r so meen to newbs. Okay, time to talk in a normal, non-stereotype noobish fashion, and now using proper grammar, I will explain how we don't realize how mean we are to new players, and how we should stop.
First off, being called a noob, n00b, newb, or anything of the fashion, is disrespectful. Try calling them by their username, or new player. Anything that is respectful, and not the opposite.
New players are human too. You were once a ... "Noob" too. Remember when you realized you push space to jump, or went a month playing without realizing the crafting table. I mean, and saying this in a respectful manor, new players are like Babies. They need to learn how to talk, use themselves in the world around them etc... We all get those rage moments where they just get plain annoying, but TRY to control yourself. I played a game by the name of Roblox. And my, oh my, the Roblox community was so mean to new players. But I'm not going to go into detail about that. Most of the time when we call someone a Noob, we are insulting someone because they are blocking, your way, annoying you, or just getting on your nerve. YES, they DO get on our nerve sometimes, but yet again, they are like babies, learning the world around them. And have you ever considered harassing someone because they are new as "Cyberbullying?" Saying noob once to someone in some cases might not be, but constantly calling a player Noob all the time, can really hurt people's feelings.
I hope this makes you think on how you, or others treat new players. Next time you, or you see someone harassing a new player, or making fun of them for no apparent reason other than the fact they don't know how to do something, stop and think, WILL DO THE RIGHT THING?
Respect to noobs pledge: I ________, pledge to not make fun of new players, and if I see someone else doing that, I will try and stop them.
