Minecraft needs a torch that can bring light as you walk. so my idea is that you can craft a torch that gives off light while you are holding it. you can only hold 16 in one slot and they wear out as you hold them. (like a pickaxe it will have the bar below it showing how much strength it has left) you will craft it using a Stick on the bottom, a piece of paper in the middle, and coal on the top.

Reason 1 why i love this idea: it brings in another use for paper
Reason 2: it just makes scene to have a torch that's lit while you hold it, and it would be an item used very much when you go outside to hunt mobs or your exploring and don't want to place torches.
Reason 3: its a simple but very valuable item to Minecraft.


Valuable info on how it works
-My ideas woud be that the torch could get a total of 2 Minecraft days and nights while your holding it.
-Hold 16 Carry Torches per slot
-Craft with 1 stick on bottom middle, 1 piece of paper in the middle, and a piece of coal in the top middle slot.
-Gives off light like a normal torch but you can hold it.
