A new scam going on here at PMC. Be advised to double check any download from PMC now with a solid anti-virus / anti-malware scanner BEFORE you open it.

A dude has posted at least two separate attempts to use my builds to peddle off bogus world save files that contain malware. Thankfully both attempts were flagged and pulled.

From what I have been told, this is becoming an issue on PMC where hackers are basically just copying entire pages of legit uploads or projects, adding a bogus upload file containing virus or malware, with the sole intent of tricking people into downloading their corrupted content over the legit content.

PMC moderators are always eager to take these guys down so don't hesitate to forward them any info about suspect postings. If you believe that your work or someone else's is being exploited in any way, don't hesitate to notify site admins.

Oh man, found out that someone was taking donations over pay pal as well. People donated to Pay Pal thinking they were aiding the "starving creator" of minetrek projects such as the Voyager, Enterprise D, and other builds. (Including a couple of the ones I have posted)

I have never asked for nor have I received any donations. Please do not make donations to anyone that is not known to you. I am so sorry for those who made a donation to this creep / creeps, thinking they were helping minecraft builders.
