Hello! Today, I thought that, instead of Moldomre's Wisdom, I'd reveal bits of my history as a Minecrafter! And, along the way, you might learn a thing or two!
It started out on an old Windows 7 desktop, but I've grown rather fond of the (AWFUL) laptop I'm typing on. By the time I got to the (AWFUL) laptop, I'd already discovered the wonders of TNT, and its amazing destruc- er, screenshot capabilities! Eventually, I found that if I typed in the chat:
/summon creeper ~ ~ ~ {powered:1b,ExplosionRadius:9}
Then, out of thin air, would pop an incredible Charged Creeper! I went nuts when I discovered Minecraft.tools, full of amazing tools (Duh.) that create beefed up Zombies and titles from the "/title" command! And that set me thinking, "Hey, what about those maps that DanTDM
plays? I'll bet I could make one of those!" Little did I know how HARD it is to type command after command. But now I've learned not to give up, and my associate (We'll get to him later!) and I are planning an awesome map, revolving around The Legend of Zelda.
I laid off of maps for a while and delved into resource packs. My first version of my Super Mario resource pack was, to say the least, saaaaad. The grass was green. No details. Just one sold color.
Ew.
Anyway, after a year, the resource pack has blossomed into what it is now! Soon after, creating RPs became a hobby, making RPs like my personal use only World of Pink RP, which makes everything pink. Duh. There's also my long-abandoned Doctor Who RP, My two Star Wars RPs, which went with their two abandoned maps, respectively, the Autumn RP, which make the grass dead (Ew.) and the leaves orange, (YaY!) and my MARVEL RP; ya know, I should continue that; it was pretty good lookin'!
I got back into commands eventually, but let's save that for Part II, shall we?
