Elyrantha is a half demon elf, created by a molecular building machine, which ‘built’ her, molecule by molecule, from scratch. The scientists behind the project, -the project’s name was “Project D.E. (D.E. stands for Demon Elf.)- their names were Dr. Teehs (pronounced as “tears” in British), Dr. Deeya, the only woman of the scientists, and Dr. Fohm, who was the leader of the project.

Throughout the months of ‘building’ Elyrantha, the three scientists kept notes on everything. They kept the resources for the machine to get molecules from coming at a constant rate, the resources were a intel on how to build all the organs, bones, features and skin, and the powder of all the components that are listed in the intel. The machine built during the day and night, which led to the scientists having to do shifts.

The machine created strong bones, stronger than the bones of a human, or any other earthly creature, the machine created the skin, which was smooth as silk, but strong as chainmail. The machine made her eyes, beautiful eyes, a beautiful shade of light green that slowly turned darker the further it went up, and a sparkle in them.

The machine built her from her feet to her head, and finally her hair, with each strand of hair created individually. After months of tirelessly working, Elyrantha was finally finished.

She had blood pumped into her, and her heart began beating. Elyrantha opened her eyes for the first time and she looked around. She spent hours looking at her body, and trying everything out.

Her 2 meter long tail, which she could curl and twist, but some instinct prevented it from getting in a knot. She touched her horns, and then her sharp teeth. She walked around. Everything was perfect. Except, she had no soul. She was a soulless creature.

The scientists tested on her, her endurance, her strength, her survivability. The test results were minimal, everything was like an animal. She couldn’t speak. She growled and yelped instead.

But she was strong. Could just lift a semi-truck up and throw it. A small car would be thrown with ease. Her tail, was something else. It wraps around a tree and pulls it out. It lifts people up. Can sling them away. The tip, is soft, but feels like a whip when you’re slapped. Elyrantha could wrap her tail around someone’s throat and choke them. Crush their neck. Without anything but a tilted head and a childlike curious expression.

The scientists were upset about her not having a soul. So, they decided to get a woman. A kind, caring and loving woman. Who was charismatic, intelligent, silly and funny. The scientists saw she couldn’t afford anything, and that she wanted to leave the world. They asked why. The woman told her that she was homeless, and couldn’t afford anything, but all she wanted was to help someone, but no one wanted her help.

The scientists asked for her help. They explained that they needed a kind and compassionate soul. They thought hers was perfect. The woman would not survive. She knew that. But she didn’t have anything left anyway, so she agreed. Under the condition that she would get a funeral. The scientists agreed.

So, they took her and brought her to Elyrantha. The woman gently patted on Elyrantha’s head, which resulted in Elyrantha purring. The scientists wrote it down. Then, they got them both in a room.

The woman spoke to Elyrantha about her life, and Elyrantha just looked at her and listened. Her whole demeanor and behavior seemed soulless and animalistic.

The scientists began a ritual, summoning a demoness by the name of Weeper, to get her help with transferring the soul of the woman to Elyrantha, and Weeper did. The woman would die shortly after, but with a happy smile, knowing that she helped someone.

What the scientists didn’t know, is that Weeper actually transferred a fraction of her soul and powers to Elyrantha too, which resulted in her getting her fiery personality, along with the personality of the woman. Elyrantha also got the ability to summon demon wings on her back out of thin air. Because of the part of Weeper’s personality being transferred, it meant that the tip of Elyrantha’s tail, and her horns would set on fire when she got angry.

Weeper was a mischievous demon, and the scientists were foolish enough to trust her. They didn’t know what Weeper did, they were oblivious to the transferred power and personality.

When Elyrantha got the woman’s soul -and Weeper’s additional power and personality- she could remember everything. The moment she opened her eyes. The testing. The woman smiling and explaining her whole life to her. The woman’s happiness from having spent her last moments helping Elyrantha.

Elyrantha cried, because of the death. She hugged her corpse, and she got separated from her, the corpse sent to the incinerator. Elyrantha remembered the scientists agreeing to the woman’s only condition. A funeral. It got her angry. So angry, that the secret power Weeper transferred activated. Her skin turned red, as well as her eyes. She broke out of her cage, and stopped Dr. Teehs, who was pushing a cart with the woman’s corpse.

She tore him apart, took the woman’s corpse and broke out of the lab, and buried her, at a beautiful place, a clearing in a forest, with beautiful white, purple, blue and pink flowers, and a cherry tree in the middle. Elyrantha dug a hole with her own hands, and buried the woman. She stood still for two minutes, her head down and silently mourning the woman’s death.

She then looked up, and smiled, grateful that the soul of the woman would live on inside her body. She sat down, smiling to the pile of dirt where the woman laid under, telling her everything that had happened to her, in detail. Elyrantha thought it would only be fair to tell her corpse her story, since the woman also talked about her, even though she knew Elyrantha wouldn’t respond.

After that, she went back to the lab, and began mercilessly devouring Dr. Fohm. She wanted to devour Dr. Deeya too, but she regretted what she had done to Elyrantha, so Elyrantha forgave her. She left the lab, and went out to explore the world, summoning her demon wings and flying away.

The first thing she encountered was a jet. A passenger jet. She followed it, and found herself in the Netherlands, at Schiphol.
