THE LAND OF THE FREE
Welcome to the United States of America, the Land of the Free!
My biggest map so far is a recreation of the USA. It took me around 6 hours. I am really proud of this, because, I used custom trees (credit to lentebriesje for the trees) to decorate this great country. Compared to my Australia map, this map is gargantuan (17 minutes to walk from side to side).

I used WorldPainter to make this map.
First, I drew up and filled in a rough sketch of the boundaries in WorldPainter. Then, I put a semi-transparent image of the US over it, and corrected the errors I had made in the rough sketch. Then, I flattened out the elevation, painted the different blocks that make up the USA, painted different elevations (for the Appalachian and Rocky Mountains), painted over the landscape with different biomes, and finally, painted with trees.

WARNING: This may cause quite a bit of lag, depending on how good your PC is.
DISCLAIMER: This map does NOT include Canada, Mexico, Hawaii, or Alaska. This is because Hawaii and Alaska are too far away and would make the Continental United States too small. Even if I put Hawaii and Alaska right next to the Continental States (as shown in some maps), Alaska would be too big. And for Canada and Mexico, all I wanted for this map was to show off the USA. If I included two other countries, I would have had to do a lot more work. Thus, I chose not to.
Because of the size of this map, it helps to look at a map of the United States (such as this one: www.google.com/maps/@36.9951948,-103.4768731,5z), as it becomes really easy to get lost. Also, I have included a map in the zip folder itself.
I hope you enjoy the landscape as much as I did making it! Also, feel free to leave a diamond or favorite this project, as it took a lot of hard work. Also, if you desire to use this map in a server or use it to make cites and actual landmarks, you may do so as long as you contact me at deathleaf1390@outlook.com.

Also, I apologize for the lack of photos (and also the bad quality of my screenshots). This map was made in Minecraft version 1.14.2, and thus, I did not have Optifine, and therefore shaders, available. Furthermore, Java is not working at all on my current computer, and so I cannot launch Chunky (for those of you who don't know, Chunky is a Minecraft rendering software).
