This map build was inspired by Château de Chenonceau and French architecture from 1600s to early 1900s. Not meant to be accurate! Built by Campestral and Spirit Boston (Dan). This is our first map we are posting publicly, so please let me know if you run into any issues.
---About--- Welcome to Le Vinarles. Originally sat a large estate taking up the landscape and the property around the glacial lake in the early 1600s. As more staff was needed for the ever expanding castle, houses were commissioned to be built. By year 1875, the castle saw it's last estate owner. It was handed over to the government and became a historical landmark. With a raise in tourism and empty staff housing, the rich moved into the town making it their own. Upscale shops and cozy apartment buildings crammed in every empty space of the town square. It's also rumored this town is filled with dark secrets... |
Some of you might recognize parts of this build! Dan and I started building this on the Official Planet Minecraft server (RIP). We never got to see it in it's full form due to the server shutting down. In the spirit of things, we finally fulfilled our Minecraft dream build.
We've been using it to play Murder Mystery on with close friends.
