If this makes any sense, let me explain something to you
If the world was a cube (or rectangular prism) then we’d always end up in the same spot and we’d be able to see the void from the edges
If the world is a platform, then we’d never end up in the same spot and we’d never see an edge (unless it’s an old world)
But in other’s eyes, a cube would also make sense because there’s lots of materials below
But on the other hand, if it’s a infinite world, then the world would stretch out forever and ever. And all materials would be the same length down as if it was on an old world.
My theory is that if it’s an old world, it’s a cube
And if it’s infinite, then it’s a platform

It doesn't work like a sphere otherwise if I travelled far enough straight I should end up back in the same spot and it certainly isn't a cube otherwise there'd be a 90 degree dropoff at some point.
Hence, also putting together the knowledge the way the Minecraft world generates as well as literally any and all math involved in finding the surface area of the map, it's flat.

if you break the bedrock below the overworld you find void meaning platform

The Nether is the core, hence the fast travel, the Overworld is causal Earth, and the End is Space, hence how far the island’s are from each other.

a cube would mean all sides are eqal. the 319 height limit is far less than the +/- 30 million x,z limits.
