Mob Health Bar

This datapack enables the display of health bars

for each mob that is near of you.




Installation


Place the .zip file inside of datapacks folder in your world folder:
"...\.minecraft\saves\my_world\datapacks\datapack.zip"



Supported Versions


Caves & Cliffs: 1.17 / 1.17.1
Caves & Cliffs II: 1.18



Notes


Repair Health Bars
Use the /reload command if the health bars are not being shown properly
or if you are updating the datapack, to recreate and update correctly
the health bars list.

Known Bugs
The new mob detector introduced in 1.5 update
have some minor bugs in SMP gameplay in all
minecraft supported versions:

►Two or more players cannot detect the same type of mob.
The health bars can flicker sometimes.
The default detection radius of mobs can be changed.

Is displaying the amount of hearts the mob has possible? Maybe using a scoreboard to detect the entity's health.

Sorry, I really don't know. The code of MHB is very simple. But exist some datapacks that display hearts for entity health instead of bars.

is there any way to make it not display the health bar for a specific mob? maybe a special tag i can apply? if not, maybe consider making it possible. would help a lot!

Each mob has a specific code for detection in the "detector_health_bar.mcfunction" function, just edit and remove any mobs that you don't want. All mobs are separated by an #Mob_name.

Yes, but you have to edit manually the datapack files, the color for each bar can be settled in the creator.mcfunction file:

<.ZIP FILE>\data\mob_health_bar\functions\health_bar\setup\creator.mcfunction
