Will you be able to make it happen?
Hey, before you read the spoilers below: You can actually build the ancient airship without most of the information on this page. The ancient scripts will guide you. That being said, the structures containing them are pretty rare (and don't exactly explain everything), so if you get stuck, read the info here.
Stuff that you should know before trying to build the airship without the rest of the info:
- There are 6 tomes of the Airship Building series that survived: Vol. I, II, II, VI, VII and VIII - Tomes IV and V are lost to time. The lost tomes are believed to contain the instructions for creating the Core.
- Look in the plains, and above forests
- The recipe for the Ancient Airship is floor crafting
- You need to visit two new structures (one in the air, one on the ground) to get all the materials necessary - in one of them is the sundial, in the other - the Core
New structures, blocks, items
This datapack adds two new structures into the game: the Ancient Ruins, and the Nobealilate Airship.
While exploring these structures, you may notice some new blocks. There is the Old Marble Pillar, Old Marble Block, Smooth Old Marble Block, and Ancient Sundial. There are also two three new types of items: the AncientCore, the Ancient Scroll, and the Ancient Airship, used to place the airship into the world.
To craft the ancient airship, throw the following stuff on the ground:
- 3 Chains
- 1 Ancient Sundial
- 15 White Wool
- 4 Old Marble Pillars
- 15 Old Marble Blocks
- 1 AncientCore

Ancient Airship - controls
Hold W to accelerate. You can only change direction when W is pressed. The max speed is 40.
Note for Judges
If you will be /locating and teleporting to the ancient ruins, teleport something like 50 blocks away, and approach them on foot.
