they day was normal, perhaps a regular saturday, perhaps. the door slowly swinging on the old hinges, floorboards creaking like always. ethan turned the tv on while reclining on the sofa, danny walked in and perched on the edge. followed by harvey and flynn coming through the second door.
the tv flickered on to a news channel "lame!" exclaimed ethan changing channel flynn leaned over and snatched the remote bringing back the news
"we- have updates- weather.... ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE! run now!" all of them leaned up and stared at eacother, meanwhile kalib walked in the room humming, he looked at the crew all staring silenty, and said "what did i miss?"

ethan slammed the hammer against the wood blocking the door, danny leaned over his shoulder asking "you know you barricaded the toilet right?" and ethan fumbled his fingers under the wood trying to pry it off the wall.
kalib went to his desk and pondered, he was tall for his age, for 17 6"5 was astunding, he looked old too; with his slick back hair and bright blue eyes. he sat at his desk schemeing. until harvey walked by and offered a bag of crisps. "hungry?" he continued walking by munching on his snacks with ethan still trying to get in the toilet.
danny slammed his hands on the desk exclaiming to kalib, "we need weapons to protect us!" danny asked kalib as he was aming for a masters degree in engineering kalib wondered to the wall picked up his lab coat and said "better get building!"

within an hour he had come up with something, a prototype to say. "i dunno what happened it only shoot plastic darts." kalib said danny emerged from the lounge, with his arm over his shoulder pointing backwards he said "ethans gone and locked himself in the toilet" danny then replied to kalibs comment with, "we just need to find a chemical which kills zombies and fill the darts with that," "not bad- not bad" kalib replied "but-" kalib continued "how do we catch a zombie?"
after that sentence a large banging came from the door, frightened ethan and harvey grabbed the nearest thing and poised it above the heads, a nahd struck through the door followed by a head which bit ethan straight on the leg. ethan screamed in pain and ran to lie down on the sofa. danny walked over to him with a bandage to rap around the wound, meanwhile flynn struck the umbrella he was holding down on the zombies head, crushing it.
kalib walked in with a mix of iron clippings and liquid nitrogen in a jar, he couldnt see the head poking through the door and inebitally fell on it, he tripped and the contents of the jar landed on ethan. his screaming stopped and the bite mark healed instantly "soooo- we found what zombies are allergic to"
but that couldnt be further from the truth...
