This is my custom resource pack: TechnoAria!

I got sick of the default textures (particularly the bland color scheme of stained clay and the vomit-inducing pink of Purpur), so I decided to change that! Boringness begone! TechnoAria is finally here!

A semi-modern, rich-colored pack, TechnoAria also has a somewhat zen feel to it. Birch doors are retextured to look more like bamboo, glowstone has a honey-like texture, and stained clay looks more like the colors in the names (and way more vibrant). I suggest using this pack for oasis-style builds like my TechnoAria Survival Beach House map (coming soon to Planet Minecraft).

I should note that not all of the textures are edited yet (key word right there: yet). I am constantly working on updating the textures, and some may change slightly from the versions in this pack (I'm looking at YOU, Birch Logs! =.= You're next...) , but most of the edits so far are here to stay.

Beta V7 Update!

I've edited: Bedrock, Cobblestone, Mossy Cobblestone, Dirt, Podzol (only the top so far), Birch Doors, Spruce Doors, Oak Doors, glass (not the top of the panes yet), Glowstone, Gold Ore, Grass Blocks (not snowy yet), Gravel, Hardened/Stained Clay, Ice, Packed Ice, Iron Bars, Acacia Logs, Dark Oak Logs, Birch Logs (only the side), Jungle Logs (only the side), Melon (not the stems yet), Netherrack, all the Planks, all the Prismarine, all the Purpur, all the Quartz Blocks (except the ore), Red Sand, Sand, all the Sandstone, Sea Lanterns, Soul Sand, Stone, Diorite (smooth and rough), Granite (smooth and rough), Stone Slabs, Cracked Stone Bricks, Tall Grass (not double-tall), Still Water, Water Overlay, and ALL the Wool. (Phew, what a list! And still more to go!)

The items edited are: Apple and Potato.

The armor edits: just Elytra for now!
Beta V8 Update!

I've now added stone bricks, mossy stone bricks, clay bricks (just called 'bricks'), jungle doors, red and brown mushrooms, and obsidian. Food added would be beef, chicken, bread, egg, pork chop, and (is this really something you should eat?) rotten flesh. Tools/weapons added are diamond shovel, diamond sword, and iron axe.

~~~IMPORTANT~~~
The tools I've added change texture based on durability! (Except for shovel. Cuz I forgot to do that.) So don't freak out when you see something odd about the texture of your precious diamond sword. It's supposed to be bathed in the blood of your enemies.
Update Beta V8.1: Gosh darn it, Prismarine and Sea Lanterns! You WILL have your mcmeta files! Whether you want them or not! Behave!
Beta V9 Update!
We've got command blocks! We've got redstone dust! We've got comparators! We've got quite a few others! But the biggest part of this update is the specular and normal mapping!
I should note that the spec and normal mapping won't be visible without shaders, so if you can't handle shaders, don't worry, I've still got other things to keep you busy. Like the updated cobblestone! And torches! And some redstone stuff! There's a few others, too, and I've renamed some things through resource pack magic. (If you're not using the language file that comes with the pack, you won't be able to tell- It's in English cuz I don't know very much of other languages... ^^; Sorry.)
Granite is now called Marble. Fish is now Alaskan Cod. And now the bacon-textured pork is actually named Bacon! (If there are others I've renamed, I can't remember them at this time, but there weren't very many. Oh! And the generic death line is changed! If you know how to get it to pop up, feel free to see it. But before you do, I must say: Ripperoni.)
Beta V10 Update!
Foliage! Trees! (I'll admit, this update isn't huge, but oh well.)
I've added several leaf textures! I've also added vines, double tall grass, and blue orchids. Item frames have a new background texture, reeds (sugar cane) have a texture, water lilies have a texture, and wheat looks like french fries! ... Sorry about that. ^^;
In addition to the foliage, there's a normal map added to Purpur (for those of you with shaders). And... I think that's it. Sorry for the small update this time. I've been working on getting ready for Pax! Can't wait to get my passes!
Beta V11 Update!
Potions! Nether Brick! Brewing!
Yet another small(ish) update. All potions are now in glass cups (some with lids), and the Ghast Tear and Blaze Rod are given simple textures. Brewing Stands have a Gothic feel to them, and Cauldrons have a simple texture. Nether Brick has a new texture, too, similar to regular bricks, but not exactly the same. (I'll give it normal and specular textures in another update.)
Aside from the brewing stuff, there's a few textures for some tools, too. I haven't implemented the alternate textures for them, though, but if you really want to, Diamond Shovels and Iron Swords have textures that you can change the MCMETA files for if you know how. I'll update them myself next update. (Iron Swords alternate textures are not modified, and currently look identical. Diamond Shovels have alternate textures that are modified.)
Beta V12 Update!
Cake! Pie! More shiny!
I've textured the block model for cake (but not the 2D item) as well as pumpkin pie and cookies! More blocks have either specular mapping, normal mapping, or both! Iron trapped doors have a new texture, and so do giant mushroom stems (the side, anyway). On top of all that, end rods have textures!
I should also note that the previously mentioned textures for diamond shovels and iron swords have been fixed so they now change texture with durability (or they should. Report to me if they don't work, and I will fix them as soon as I can.)
And I should also note that it is official! I am going to Pax West! Maybe I'll see some of you there? Who knows? I'll probably post on Twitter if some of you guys can make it.
Beta V13 Update!
So much shiny! Also ore. And trapped door. And a few other things.
I've textured diamond blocks now! As well as iron ore, both trap doors, chiseled stone bricks, and prismarine crystals. I've also added more specular mapping and normal mapping. Grass blocks now have a bit of bump to them. Gravel has bump mapping, too.
Don't worry, guys! I will update the pack for 1.10 as soon as I can! I want to get more blocks textured for the previous blocks, first, though. I'll do what I can when I get to it. (Magma looks like it'll be fun to texture, so I'm looking forward to it.)
Beta V14 Update!
Dyes! Stew! Bowl!
Update is out a day late (cuz I am forgetful ^^; srry), but we've got every single dye! That includes ink sacks, bone meal, and lapis lazuli, too! The dyes other than the three just listed are placed in wooden bowls, so I went ahead and textured bowls as well. And because I textured bowls, I also textured one of the stews: rabbit stew.
I apologize for not having this updated yesterday. I'll try better in the future to remember and upload on time. Thanks for your patience!
Beta V15 Update!
So... Many... Textures...
I've done sooooooooo many textures: Anvils, Beds, Acacia Doors, Emerald Blocks, Flower Pots, all Tulips, several Specular textures for blocks, all Buckets, Melon, Glistering Melon, Wheat Seeds, and Sugar. Hooooooo boy... I think (?) that's all of them. If I missed anything, oh well, you'll notice them.
I should note that there's two sets of textures for the top half of beds. You can have the default Cyan bed, OR you can unzip the folder and change around the file names for beds to have the Lime bed variation. Once inside the folder, the file path is: Assets/Minecraft/Textures/Items.
Have fun changing around the bed textures if you want!
Beta V16 Update!
Sticky! Shiny! Fishy!
Lots more specular along with completely new textures! I've added pistons and sticky pistons! Slime blocks are blue! Snow is shiny! Sponges are weird! Clay is pink-ish! I've textured the Alaskan Cod (Fish) as well! Both raw and cooked. Soul Sand has specular and normal mapping now!
Aside from the usual, I've changed one thing: planks. They've got a more... 'plank-y' texture. Like actual planks instead of continuous strips of wood. If you'd prefer the previous textures, I've still included them, however, I may delete them in the final version. So if you really REALLY want the previous plank textures, SAVE THEM while you can. Note that the two variants for beds will still be there regardless.
Excited to be getting back on track! Woot!
Beta V17 Update! *Newest*
Red sandstone!
All the red sandstone textures have been fully updated, including specular and normal mapping where necessary. Lapis blocks and Coal blocks received their textures. And... that's it? For new textures, yeah. Updated textures would be chiseled quartz, mossy cobble, and mossy stone bricks.
Pax comes in just a few short weeks. Who'll be there? Sound off in the comments!
Warning: This is a very high resolution texture pack, and it WILL cause lag on systems that are not strong enough. If you are running integrated graphics on a laptop... ^^; sorry...
I may re-scale the textures in the future to make them available to weaker computers, but only if I get enough requests for it (and probably only after this version is done).
Thank you for your interest in TechnoAria!
Bit of a heads-up, guys! I've been having more computer issues. Crashes, freezes, general instability... I looked at the crash reports, and it turns out it's my processor causing the issues. Unfortunately, an upgrade will be expensive. 300 USD, approximately. While I work on that, I'll keep trying to make textures. I can't make promises on the update days, though. Let's hope for the best!
^^; Yeah, I realized... Oops... Ah well, I think I've got some of the issues solved temporarily. Can't play as many games now, but that's the price to pay.
K, guys, something I need to tell you about the next update: The thing I say in the post about it being a very high resolution pack? I've got decent specs and get about 300 FPS steadily running about without shaders. With shaders, I normally get about 70. With the new updates I'm making to my pack, my poor computer is throwing a hissy fit and giving me less than 30 a lot. Spec maps and normal maps are brutal! When I say it will cause lag, I'm not joking. It WILL cause lag. If you can't handle unmodded MC with over 60 FPS unrestricted most of the time, I advise you to not get this pack.
Thank you, PsychoNoodlez! I'll be adding some specular mapping in the next update (hopefully next Wednesday), so check back then!
