Ok so, turns out working with a limited palette is HARD with my style of shading XD, but I managed to figure this out and thus I now present my really late contender to the sakura palette contest...

Vera, The Blossoming Dryad

Now for some context on the skin itself and the name.
Starting with the name which might be the simplest to explain, I went for Vera wich is a cut-out part of the word "Primavera", which is the word for Spring in Portuguese, it had this sound of nature to it, and it also fit in with the theme of flowers which tend to bloom during Spring (not sure about sakura flowers though).
Moving on to the color choices, clothing, etc...
Since I had a sort of dryad in mind, I wanted some kind of clothing which would be sparse thus making the wearer more in tune with nature, while incorporating the sakura flower colors on both it and it's decorations, and so I went for a loose dress with a lot of holes for skin and no shoes, for that typical cliché of being closer to the earth... I also gave her a flower crown to add some splash of color to the head.

Finally for the last 3 main elements being, the hair, skin and finally the eyes:
Starting with the hair I used green to represent something a kin to leaves or general greenery, and I gave her a ponytail just because I'd never done one on a skin before.
As for the skin, I went with the darkest colors on the palette to make some contrast and because they fitted nicely with the theme of a dryad without going for the typical green skin choice.
And finally for the eyes, I went again with my cartoonish looking eye shapes while also changing one of them to be a big flower to further add to the mystical dryad feel, and also because I thought it would look good... which in my personal opinion does :D
