My contest entry - Tomislav (you english people could say Thomas or Tom cause im from Croatia).

Story: During the 10th century, king Tomislav has inherited a big and powerful country. Tomislav had an idea to make the country even bigger. So he first attacked the Hungarians in the north. His conquest was successful and Croatia has grown bigger. Now Tomislav has joined the war between the Byzantine and the Bulgarians. He fought on the side of Byzantium so the Bulgarian emperor Simeon sent an army to attack Tomislav, but Tomislav was too powerful for them to handle his army so he won. He finnaly forced the Bulgarians to make peace with Croatia. After the wars Tomislav has made a very big and powerful country, so the pope tittled Tomislav as a king in one of his letters. The Byzantine needed support so they made Tomislav the governor of Dalmatia cause back then Dalmatia was not in Croatia. When Tomislav died he left a too powerful country to his heirs so Croatia started to fall down again...

We will always remember Tomislav, and today, in Zagreb (the capital of Croatia) we have a statue of King Tomislav.
