This is my entry for the Above the Clouds Contest. I would like to thank my brother PureNerd217 for helping me create my own shading for the past few weeks, it took a while but I think it paid off, I also want to start skinning more often so you'll be seeing more of me on PMC.

Story:
There once were inventers from acros the world that wanted to get away from the world below by build a floating city where there would be peace from the chaos below saying to the world that when the city was finished that they would open the doors, so the leaders of the world agreed and they startd working that same year. 10 years later it was finished and it began to float, the world rejoiced, and the most qualified where allowed into the city of peace. they left the world behind with the rest of humanity angry with them for leaving them behind with limited resources when every day of the past 10 years the people had built the city believing that they and there familys would come aboard. but they had no way of reaching them so humanity went on, built new goverments and rebuilt a new world. but the city in the sky was not doing well, they had discovered another race in the clouds made of gas itself, but the people in the city did not bring soldiers thinking there would be peace. So the inventors went back down to earth to plead for help, but humanity would not help the ones who left them to die, so the Inverntors took stone from the earth and with robotics made them into soldiers that could not die. there was a great war in the sky, but everyone in that floating city was destroyed. but the Golems of the Sky were not, but they could not think for themselves so humanity below took them, and asked the creatures made of gas and cloud to give life to the machines, the creatures agreed but they made the humans promise to never go into the sky again, and the humans agreed, so the humans could never go back to the city in the sky that was still there, floating without any life. and when the Golems where brought to life their core began to glow light blue, and they had power in there hands, and they could see. but the Golens felt out of place in there life so they also asked the creatures made of gas and cloud to bring them to the floating city, half destroyed so they could rebuild it, and life in peace, and the creatures agreed.
