The Protector of Mercury is a celestial being that lives inside of the planet Mercury. It has no particular gender but prefers to be called a "he". It's name is Thangrieon, by the way. Glad we got that cleared up so I can stop calling him "It".
Anyways, Thangrieon protects Mercury and speaks with the other Nine Protectors at meetings to discuss their planets.
