I wanted to make Kvasir for the Norse Mythology contest because I found his story very fascinating and I hadn't seen many renditions of him, so I wanted to create my own.

Kvasir was created from the spit of the Aesir and Vanir gods, they had chewed up berries and spat them out then fermented them with the intention of creating an alcohol, but instead it created an extremely wise man, the smartest. Kvasir liked to travel and spread his knowledge to others, but one day during his travels he met the dwarves Fjalar and Galar in which he tried to share his knowledge with. Instead they murdered him and drained his body of his blood. With his blood they mixed it with honey and created the Mead of Poetry that inspired the creation of poetry.
