Optimus prime is the leader of the Autobots, and an formidable warrior but it wasn't always like this, before, Optimus was only a library named of Orion Pax and, after almost dying on a decepticon attack led by Megatron himself and being saved by Alpha Trion to become the brand new Autobot's leader, Optimus prime. Unhappily the autobots had to escape from Cybertron and they get stuck in a backward planet, called Earth...
