Maria the "elf" was born on December 14th. She was born in a small town far to the north, so small and far away that almost no one ever found it. Her parents died when she was young so she was moved to an orphanage. Every Christmas she asked to be adopted, but it never happened. One winter day she left the town and explored the area attempting to find Santa and tell him her wish. She eventually found a large factory. When she walked in she saw hundreds of elves, she knew she had found it. Ever since then she has stayed there, pretending to be an elf, so she could have somewhere to be, and give other the things they've always wanted.
