it probably looks like it but Ive never heard of a Madagascar hissing cockroach. i also have never been to Madagascar.

once at a "bug zoo" the guide demonstrated the hissing sound they made by flipping it over and "tickling" it. It made as the name suggests adorable hissing noises XD
