Honestly I made this skin, not really looking at the rules of the contest, but then I figured she looked Irish. So I went on a little search and found out about Aoife MacMurrough, Also known as Aoife of Leinster.

This Irish Princess married Richard de Clare, 2nd Earl of Pembroke, better known as Strongbow by request of her father Dermot MacMurrough after the Norman invasion of Ireland in 1170. Soon after, battles were conducted by Aoife on behalf of her husband and she is sometimes known as Red Eva. Time past and she became the ancestor of many famous Kings such as Richard, 1st Earl of Cornwall, Roger de Mortimer, Richard III, and King Henry IV.

I made this skin and everything might not be completely accurate but at least you learned something by taking the time to read this through. My resource page was from the Wikipedia page of Aoife MacMurrough.

Great skin! However, the color of the skin kind of gets dirty and murky, something that I personally dislike about skin tone, because I believe that the color should become more saturated when getting darker.

I've never been proficient with coloring, this saturation sounds like a good idea, how would I go about this? I could go about maybe changing the shading.

That is a lot better. The way you shade so that the skin doesn't turn an ugly grey like that is, if you use palettes, when you change value make sure to change saturation the opposite direction. The same applies to opacity shading. If you use dodge and burn, which you may have because you got that effect, there is no real way. I would recommend trying palettes, or rather opacity shading which gives you the same effect, you just use a pencil, a different shade (Either less saturation and more value for a brighter shade or more saturation and less value for a darker shade) and less opacity. I hope I described that well...

I don't use dodge and burn, just to clear that area up.
